Crema's Take

This Turkish grill brings authentic Istanbul flavors to Jacksonville with freshly grilled kebabs and lahmacun that keep locals coming back for more, though purists occasionally debate the execution of specific dishes. Beyond the food, it's a genuine gathering spot where families linger over traditional Turkish drinks and pastries, with genuinely warm service that makes celebrations feel special. The honest pricing and consistently fresh ingredients create that rare combination of casual comfort and culinary care that makes it feel like a neighborhood treasure rather than just another kebab spot.

It was my birthday on March 6th, and my kids and I decided to try some real food! You understand how hard it is to find truly delicious food! We really enjoyed it, and your waitress was very polite and attentive! I just want to say how great you are for opening such a cafe. I believe your cafe is a treasure trove far from home! Lahmacun is simply incredible! I wish you success and a sea of grateful customers! 🫠🎉

We tried the çiğ köfte, which unfortunately wasn’t quite to our personal taste; however, this is of course very subjective. The lahmacun, on the other hand, was excellent — beautifully crispy and full of flavour. Achieving that perfect crispness is not easy at all, so we were genuinely impressed and very pleased. The service was outstanding, with a warm, friendly, and attentive team throughout our visit. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we would happily return.

I ordered a double Adana kebab, but what was served had absolutely nothing to do with Adana. It was basically kasap köfte brought out as Adana. I was very hungry, so I ate one piece thinking of it as a regular meatball, but serving köfte and calling it Adana is honestly unacceptable. Prices are affordable and it’s more of a quick sit-and-eat place, which is fine. However, changing one dish into another and serving it under a different name is not okay at all. Very disappointing.

I’ve been getting takeout from this restaurant for a while now, but I finally decided to try dining in. I was so impressed with the freshly grilled food—it tasted incredibly fresh! I also had Turkish hot tea, and it was so strong and delicious! (I’m a big fan of strong tea.) The chicken kebabs were absolutely delicious and came with generous portions. If you haven’t had the chance to visit this place yet, it’s definitely worth checking out! They also have a fantastic selection of Middle Eastern desserts, including baklava, Dubai chocolate, Turkish delights, and Dubai strawberry cups.
