Coffee Culture

I have been a loyal customer and huge fan of coffee culture for years. I usually leave my dissatisfied visits to myself, but decided after yesterday’s encounter I would leave an honest review. I purchased a cookie at the BSL location and pulled a black hair out of my cookie while eating it. I have dirty blonde hair. The cookie went straight from the brown paper bag that it was served in/ to me breaking it up and eating it. It never went on a different surface or was taken out of the bag. Absolutely disgusting. The best part is after I was served my coffee I had to ask for the cookie because the guy forgot to give it to me. And now I wish I would have forgotten too. About a month or 2 ago, I woke up an hour early to get there when they open to order coffees for my office. I checked the day before to see what time they open & Apple Maps said 6 AM. I was in the driveway between 5- 10 minutes and no one helped me so I knocked on the window. The girl said they did not open till 6:30 and to show her where it said online that they opened at 6 AM. So I showed her and she said that that must be wrong. She offered to make me a drink but it did not fix the Negative experience or the issue considering I was hoping to order about 7 coffees. Very disappointing and make me feel like it was my fault for being there when it said they were open. I believe she sent it to her manager, and they fixed it. Their employees are usually pretty down & Seem unhappy to be serving you. There’s one dark haired girl at the DH location that is always smiling, though. I hate that the DH location doesn’t have any seating & is drive through only. The BSL location doesn’t have enough room inside to go have coffee or breakfast with someone because the few tables are so close to the register you’d feel like you can’t have your own conversation. The Honey butter chicken biscuit, While it might sound delicious, it is so gross. Tastes like a Sam’s chicken patty microwaved, Nothing really honey butter about the biscuit either. Their macaroons are some of my favorite that I’ve ever had! I buy some every time I visit and usually at least 3. Their frozen coffee is my favorite “frappe” ever, but with grit and grind now down the road and 7Brew, theirs is just as good. Don’t plan to go back, which is unfortunate because I have one stamp left on my coffee card

My experience is hit or miss. Drinks are great! However, customer service could be a bit better. Several occasions I ordered the exact same thing but get different outcomes so they need a collective understanding and consistency. For example I ordered a small hot peppermint tea and it was just right, then order the exact same thing with the same person couple days later and it's not sweet like the first time so I go in and ask for sugar and the young lady seemed annoyed by it and told me it only comes with the peppermint; I said well I didn't know because last time I ordered it, it was sweet without me specifying to add sugar... I assumed the peppermint sweetened it. Yes I have sugar at home but if I'm paying for something and leaving a tip before I even recieve my order I need it to meet my expectations. I shouldn't have to go elsewhere to add to my order.

Hands down the BEST coffee stop around! I won’t name 2 other popular coffee places, but they can’t hold a candle to Coffee Culture!! I promise you! Way more options as far as flavors of syrups and cold foams etc! Their macarons are to die for also! If you haven’t been, you must try and see why!

Cute little coffee shop. Employees were friendly. Lots of flavors available to add to your coffee. Will try a cinnamon roll next time since they ran out when I was there.

The staff was friendly and the fun flavor combinations were very tasty. I had a red velvet frappe. My son and I hung out for about an hour. Would definitely stop by again next time I’m in the area.
