Crema's Take
“The laminated pastries here are genuinely excellent—buttery croissants and almond Danish that actually justify the price—and the calm, authentically Parisian interior makes it feel less like a Chicago café and more like a legitimate escape. The coffee is secondary to the pastry program, so come for the viennoiserie and settle in with a book rather than expecting third-wave extraction, but the full breakfast menu and lack of crushing crowds makes this an unexpectedly pleasant spot to linger on Clark Street.”
What to expect
Specialty coffee. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

See all on Google →Came in for the first time today and I have to say, what an amazing find. Not only is the ambiance and environment absolutely cute and calming, it completely encapsulates a Parisian flair. The menu was wonderful, and the almond croissant, may have been the best I’ve ever had in…
Upscale French pastry shop. Landed here after spotting laminated doughs and actual open seats thru the window (a rarity in this part of town). Pastries were delicious and coffee middling, both a dollar or so more than usual. Decor was entirely overdone in a fun way. Worth a stop
