The Common - Park Slope

Crema's Take
“Tucked into Park Slope, this spot strikes that rare balance of being both a serious espresso destination and a genuinely welcoming neighborhood gathering place where you'll linger over a perfectly pulled shot or one of their creative signature drinks. The kitchen backs up the coffee excellence with craveable breakfast dishes like carrot cake French toast and buttermilk fried chicken, all served by a staff that feels genuinely invested in making you feel at home. It's the kind of place where the atmosphere is as carefully crafted as the coffee itself, making it just as good for a solo coffee ritual as it is for bringing friends who'll want to stay for hours.”

Such a cozy and atmospheric place. The food was really delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. They also treated us to tea and carrot cake, which was so nice and cute. Definitely coming back 😍
We had a delightful experience at this restaurant today. Milo provided outstanding service, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout the meal. We enjoyed the buttermilk fried chicken and uova alla benedict. The strawberry cheesecake is fresh, crispy, and delicious. I highly recommend their lunch/ brunch.
I loved everything about this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. Our hostess Sophia, was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had lots of questions about the food,, and history of the restaurant. We were in for a midweek brunch, so it wasn't extremely busy. The noises level was good for conversation, nice decor, and good vibe. Looking forward to another brunch here.
Amazing staff, great food (we tried a bunch of dishes) and cosy feel inside. Highly recommend: Carrot cake French toast; eggs Benedict; Grilled breakfast naan; passion fruit mimosa (to die for!); skillet pancake; tomato onion tart. …I just listed everything we had to eat as ‘highly recommended’. It really was all amazing! Great staff who were attentive and quick to serve us. Awesome music playlist (80-90’s pop!)
Went to THE COMMON! Omg it was awesome the atmosphere the staff was so comforting, accommodating with our party of (7). Both (Natalie Lead Waitress)& Josie were incredible. Beyond kind attentive. The barista was so sweet with our safety. Enjoyed the Aztec Hot chocolate made sure it was hot and fresh. Tried multiple platters. Asked Natalie recommendations she suggested the toasted potatoes yum 😋, and the chicken liver on point. We had a loaded to perfection breakfast sandwich, sticky chicken RECOMMENDING HIGHLY PER NATALIE! The Mac & cheese with avocado toast, and roast beef two orders. The French toast with bananas caramelized omgwww on point! I could go on but will definitely be back with our (7) party. No dissatisfaction here accommodating us at peak traffic but worth the trip. Thank you to the staff for completely making our (FIRST VISIT A DELIGHT) ♥️
