Pine Street Grill

Crema's Take
“Pine Street Grill feels like the neighborhood gathering spot that was missing from Fitler Square, where you can slide in solo for coffee and pastries or linger for an unhurried meal that hits every note from casual breakfast to elevated dinner. The team—Amanda and Alex leading the charge—has created something genuinely warm and welcoming, where fresh, thoughtfully made food pairs with that rare combination of approachable prices and actual care, making it feel less like a restaurant and more like a place that's genuinely happy you showed up.”

A great neighborhood spot, with delicious food across the board. Everything we ordered was fresh and incredibly well done. Thank you to Ally for making us feel so welcome. We’re extremely grateful for even more access to Chef Alex and Chef Amandas food and can’t wait to be back and bring our friends.
A perfect meal! We loved being able to pop in for an early dinner that felt like a later evening vibe. We loved the apps, salad, burger, and got one of each dessert. They even had a PSG baby bib and plate/ cutlery for our toddler
FINALLY, there is a spot in the Fitler Square, Graduate Hospital area, where you can have an elevated yet still casual dining experience. I've been here 3x since it opened: solo, with my family, and with friends. I went 10-15 minutes before opening twice, fully anticipating a long line and had a reservation the third time. It's not every day a Michelin-starred restaurant owner opens a more casual restaurant to serve the community, so of course, it's always packed. If you want to eat here on the first visit (especially during the first few months of opening), getting there a little before 4pm when it opens, or putting your name in within the first 30 minutes of opening has worked for me. As has setting a reminder and making a reservation within a minute or two of them dropping. I'm grateful to Libbie Loup Hospitality for taking a chance in the vacant space in this neighborhood and for making it kid-friendly. Each visit, I've been met with kindness by the staff. They offered to help me break down and put my stroller back together, gave my kid the cutest-ever baby plate and cutlery, and have been patient and caring. I'm a big fan of many things on the menu, and right now the squash fondue, eggplant parm, turkey club, and the carrot cake are at the top of my list. I look forward to coming here for many years to come. Thank you, Pine Street Grill!!
Was excited to check out Pine Street Grill. The ambiance is casual and chill in the best way, and the menu feels homey with really approachable prices. I grabbed a seat at the bar (solo) and got lucky, but the space is small so you’ll likely have a wait depending on the time of day. They do take limited reservations. I ordered the burger with Cooper Sharp and an onion topping and it was excellent. The key lime pie was also delicious. Nice looking beer and cocktail menu, and friendly service all around. Looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu!
It makes me feel warm and safe to know that Pine Street Grill is in the neighborhood. Everything Amanda and Alex touch turns to yum. Super smart team. The whole operation is so competent right out of the gate. Food is fantastic and accessible. The best wings, Philly Balls, PSG burger, mac & cheese, pretzel, nuggs, interesting salads, matzah ball soup; lots more comfort food as well as fine dining options like steak, salmon and chicken that make for a sweet ‘n’ easy evening. Appropriate for actual as well as grown up kids. Get the carrot cake. Happy hour from 4-6. Burger and beer special from 9:30-10:30. Excellent bartenders! Thanks Jill, Josh and Catherine. While a reservation is not easy to score, I’ve had good luck with walk ins. This place has been popping from the get go.
