Crema's Take
“Pampy's is where Gainesville goes for authentic Cuban coffee crafted with care and pastries that taste like they came straight from someone's abuela's kitchen—because they practically did, with the owner baking fresh batches daily in small batches. The café strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine stop and a lingering gathering spot, where you can settle in with a creamy Cuban coffee and a buttery guava and cheese pastel without feeling rushed, all in a genuinely warm, family-friendly atmosphere that keeps people coming back.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Pampy's Cuban Bakery — A Hidden Gem You Must Try!If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy great coffee and authentic Cuban pastries, Pampy's Cuban Bakery is the place to be! We stopped in for some café con leche and honestly, it was one of the best we've had — rich, creamy, and perfectly made. We also tried the guava pastry and the flan cake, and both were absolutely delicious. The flan cake especially was a standout — smooth, sweet, and the perfect treat to go along with the coffee. The place is super clean, which I always appreciate, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The vibe is just adorable — warm, charming, and very Cuban. It really feels like a little escape the moment you walk in.Whether you're coming in for a quick coffee, a sweet pastry, or a full meal, this place has you covered. Highly recommend Pampy's to anyone in the area — you won't regret it! 🥐☕
The Cuban coffee with 3 types of milk was amazing! The pastries, especially the guava cream cheese one, were so good. And the black bean yellow rice with roasted pork bowl was a generous amount and oh, so good. My 8-yr-old granddaughter ate a bunch of mine, then got her own bowl, and said it was the "best lunch I've ever had!" ☺️
Got two profiteroles as a treat after work. Both were moldy, which I only discovered after biting into one. Maybe everything else is great, but this isn't a great first impression.
I went today with a friend a we got a banana muffin, a guava and cheese pastel, and a milhoja with vanilla cream. These were great! My pastel was nice and crunchy as it should be and it had plenty of guava and cheese inside. My milhoja also had sufficient cream and not too sweet either just the right amount. My Cuban friend recommended it to me and I highly recommend it too! The service was great and the lady at the counter was so sweet. It was clean and plenty of seating a great place for some friends and fresh food. You will not regret eating the delicious homemade treats here! (I ate somewhere else because we took it to go so don’t mind the picture of dirty table that was somewhere else) :)
This cozy local bakery is a gem! All the pastries are freshly baked in small batches each day by the owner herself, which really shows in the quality. We tried a variety—ham and cheese, ground beef, cheese, and guava with cheese—and every single one was delicious. The bread is buttery, flaky, and clearly made with care. You can taste the love in every bite. We also had the flan, and it was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. We bought a few initial pastries and ate them in the car and immediately went back for seconds. If you’re in the area, please stop by and support this small business. You won’t regret it!
