Crema's Take
“This cozy neighborhood spot in Newark wins hearts with creative signature drinks like their beloved s'mores latte and a made-to-order food program where staff bring pastries and light fare right to your table. The intimate, old-world charm appeals to regulars and families alike, though the small space can get toasty on warm days. Friendly, accommodating staff and a rewards program make it feel like the kind of place where you'd want to become a regular.”

Smores latte is the best!
Terrible. The building is old, understandable, but it was soo hot! We came in around 9 on 6/30/24. When wr first walked in the two ladies behind the counter were having a conversation, not once did they stop to greet us. Reviewed the menu and when I placed my order there was no communication on how long it would be. We processed payment and there was dead air, I wasn’t sure if it went through, where pick up was, etc. I asked did everything process, are we done? Response was oh, yes and handed me a bag. I get to the car and what I ordered wasn’t there. I walk back in, again no greeting. I advise I am missing my croissant and she tells me it’s being heated up. (Why was I not told that before I walked out) I wait 10 MINUTES, when I asked for a status they advised it take 2 or so minutes to melt the cheese. By the time I got the food I was over it, and fun fact, the cheese wasn’t fully melted. I spent a total of 30 min at this location and will never be back. The Amstel location is wonderful.
I like the small cozy vibe, workers are all really friendly and accommodating!! The food is made to order and the workers even bring it out to you! Sign up for the rewards if you think you'll go more than once- you rack up points very fast!
Nice, small and cozy coffee place, small food menu as well, including crepes and croissants. The menu hasn't changed much from what used to be there before Bings Bake and Brew, and some of the seating is now more comfortable. Finally, the ambiance of the predecessor, the Little French Cafe, I think it was called, has been preserved, which I appreciate, because it is a nice little place right on main street!
food and service were very poor
