Crema's Take

Tucked into a deceptively spacious Lakeview spot, Kazka City Cafe crafts elevated pastries and creative breakfast dishes that prioritize balance and thoughtful detail—think delicate mango-raspberry croissants and eggs Benedict with a lighter, more refined touch than the traditional heavy pour. The cozy, impeccably designed space strikes that rare sweet spot between Instagram-worthy aesthetics and genuine warmth, making it equally perfect for a quick coffee break or lingering over a leisurely meal with friends, and the team's willingness to go off-menu shows they're genuinely invested in what you love.

I absolutely love Kazka , which is conveniently located right across from my studio ☕✨ It’s so nice to just walk across the street and enjoy a cozy break. I always love their desserts they’re delicious and beautifully presented and the main dishes are just as good. Everything tastes amazing, the service is fast, and they’re always attentive to the little details. Such a lovely spot that I truly enjoy going back to again and again.

The food was fresh and really tasty, and everything looked so stylish on the plate. We only waited about 15 minutes (party of 5), which was great. They even made a drink for us that wasn’t on the menu. The place feels really cozy.

lovely spot with a warm, cozy atmosphere and excellent pastries. I tried the round mango & raspberry croissant — very delicate and perfectly balanced. The mushroom soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The almond croissant was also great, just like all their pastries 🥐 My absolute favorite was the Cherry Tonic — refreshing and delicious. The place is clean, welcoming, and definitely somewhere I’d come back to.

The food and pastry here are elevated, tasty, and filled with details! The eggs Benedict was light and refreshing — it’s not the typical ones with heavy hollandaise sauce. It is more balanced and complex with the addition of pickled beets. I appreciate the contrast between the spinach, micro greens, soft comfy brioche bread, and perfectly creamy egg yolk. The smoked salmon seems house-cured and added great salt and texture. My friends ordered the sandwich and happy breakfast and liked those as well. The rose matcha was fragrant. The croissant had this cream on top that made it luscious, and the lavender cheese cake bar was unique! Interior is super cute! I would come back again and try more food!

What a great addition to Lakeview. The location looks small because the storefront is relatively narrow but it’s deep. Beautiful place, impeccably clean decor and delicious food. I tried the syrniki on my first visit and it was heavenly! There are incredibly light cheese pancakes, served with warm, spiced cherries, mascarpone cheese and crushed pistachios. Outstanding! I tried the chocolate bun on my second visit. It’s sort of like a morning bun filled with chocolate (whipped cream possibly?). Delicious, flaky and perfectly sweet. I’m ready to explore the entire menu! Also, I had a nice chat with the woman who is one of the owners. We talked about Ukraine food and how nice it is to have this place on the north side of the city!
