Crema's Take
“The Bean trades aesthetics for functionality—spacious communal tables make it the rare NYC coffee shop where you can actually gather a group without fighting for outlet space or annoying solo workers. The espresso-focused drinks are solid and straightforward rather than flashy, though the iced drinks can skew watery, so stick with hot pours if you want to actually taste the coffee. It's not Instagram-worthy, but it's genuinely useful if you need a reliable spot to work or meet friends without the pretension.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused, with a pour-over program, matcha and tea options too. A laptop-friendly, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Dog friendly. Wifi. Parking available.

See all on Google →Coffee is pretty tasty. The barista was rude for no apparent reason? I like a moody barista, fits the vibe, sure. But their menu has sizes S M L, I chose medium. She goes small or large, I say do you guys not have medium in iced, she goes “small or large”. So no communication…
Ordered their iced Mocha and it was so disappointing.. It tasted like diluted chocolate milk. You can’t taste the espresso at all. We also tried their Açaí bowl (The Rider) and the açaí purée does not taste anything like açaí at all, AGAIN! Also, the texture of the açaí is like…
Just love the fact that they have large dining room tables where you can meet your friends as a group and chat and work on things. Not over overwhelmed by all day laptop hoggers so a nice place to go and meet friends and find a table. Happy and upbeat atmosphere.
I love The Bean. Basically the only coffee shop in my neighborhood to work and damn this is the best place to go to have a meeting, study, work, etc. Not really a trendy, cozy coffee shop vibe (which isn’t a bad thing!!) but it’s literally PERFECT for getting stuff done, here’s…
Warning: they offer free ice cream for a google review. I really don’t like when places do this. Look, it’s not the vibiest place. But the coffee was actually nothing to complain about. They take Classpass credits lol. Laptops allowed, even on weekends. Lots of snack and food…
