Crema's Take

This Palm Springs favorite has mastered the art of being both a quick caffeine stop and a lingering community gathering spot, where the owner's genuine warmth—greeting regulars by name—sets the tone for the whole experience. While their espresso leans toward darker roasts, the real stars are the fresh-baked pastries and thoughtfully curated chai selection that make this place feel less like a typical coffee shop and more like a neighborhood hub where excellent food and genuine hospitality matter just as much as what's in your cup.

The food was so fresh and great tasting with excellent variety. Pastries were irresistible too, warm and fresh. The coffee was perfect and they had tons of chai options if you don’t prefer coffee. We will be back! Highly recommended!

Coffee was decent. It was a little bitter, but still good overall. Definitely tasted like a dark roast, which some people may prefer. I like more of a smooth medium roast, so if you like dark roast, you will probably really like the coffee. The atmosphere is nice and the service was great. My friend ordered her drink a specific way and when it was messed up, they made her a new one right on the spot. The IW stands for Indian Wells, but since this one is outside of Indian Wells, the gentleman who works there told me it stands for I Want Coffee… which should be their t-shirt ❤️

Every time I visit, I enjoy myself. The coffee makers provide your order quickly. I've only had their teas and coffees thus far. The tortoise green tea is my absolute favorite, additionally the red panda pumpkin. The food looks absolutely delicious.

Had breakfast here today. The food was wonderful and atmosphere was great. I had the avacado toast and it was loaded with goodness. My husband had the breakfast burrito which was loaded with egg and bacon and piping hot. The choices of Chai are endless (see the photo) If you are looking for a casual breakfast or coffee put this place on your list.

Local joint where the owner greets everyone by name (amazing to watch, impressive). Has a sense of community. The coffee is okay. The real magic here is the muffins and pastries - which they bake fresh everyday, and are so amazing it’s hard to find enough words. This I say, and I generally never order muffins or pastries. The Chai selection is not only tremendous, but the actual Chai is top notch (I guess it makes sense why the call it a Chai Bar). Lastly, I just want to point out that they open at 6am. This is equally important to all of the other great products the offer. This place is actually hoping at 6-6:30am. Humans need coffee and breakfast. Nothing bothers me more than a coffee shop that opens at 8am (misses the point). So, thank you to Mike and the entire staff for getting it right, hitting the center of the bullseye, and being an integral part of the community. You made my visit welcoming and more connected.
