Crema's Take
“Tucked away on Holmes Beach, this spot strikes that rare balance between laid-back island vibes and genuinely excellent craft—whether you're ordering a creative dirty chai or diving into their standout duck lunch special. The team here (Amy and crew included) elevates the whole experience with the kind of attentiveness that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit, and the food is surprisingly ambitious for a casual cafe, with beautifully plated salads and brunch items that justify the hype. Come for the excellent coffee and creative drinks, but stay for the warm atmosphere and the sense that someone actually cares about getting every detail right.”

This is simply the best cafe on the island. Great ambiance, amazing service/nice staff, and great food (I had the egg andwich and avocado toast, both best in their class). The place is also extremely clean, which for some reason is hard to find on the island. Could not recommend more!!
The duck is absolutely phenomenal, pizza, drinks, everything is outstanding! The cook made the duck for us for lunch, the staff is friendly, incredible one of the best places I’ve been and highly recommend.
So everyone loves Hurricane Hank's, which is just around the corner. We intended to go for dinner, but by the time we got there (5pm on a Saturday!) it was already full. The hostess suggested that we try their sister restaurant, just around the corner in the same lot, called the Pourhouse. We'd thought it was just a coffee place... we were wildly mistaken. It's not just a dinner place... it's a *fantastic* dinner place with a really nice vibe. To start with, they have a great drinks menu - lots of options, good wines, and if they don't have something, they can probably get it from Hank's attached liquor store. The menu is not huge, but the food was perfectly done. My wife ordered their grain bowl and loved it (and they put the beets on the side since she's not a fan and I am); I got the duck, and I swear it was the entire bird, cooked perfectly with a great sauce. It wasn't cheap ($30 for the duck) but that's not bad for Anna Maria, and I ended up with two full meals in any case. We're particularly grateful to Kristen, our waitress, for good advice and amazing service - she was everywhere, doing every job.
Amy was our server and she was amazing! I ordered a Chai latte and she suggested making it a dirty chai which she explained added a shot of espresso and I’ll tell you what it was delicious! I also had the epic egg sandwich with sausage and it blew me away! The sweet and heat jam sent it over the top! It was OUTSTANDING! It was my first time there but it won’t be my last for sure and I’ve told everyone about it!
This place hit the sweet spot between style, flavor, and atmosphere. We ordered the Roots and Grains Salad and the Poke Bowl — both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The roasted veggies and salmon were perfectly cooked, and the flavor balance in the poke was fresh and vibrant. The latte art was a fun surprise, and the overall vibe of the café was modern, cozy, and welcoming. Great menu variety with options for all kinds of diets, and the attention to detail in both food and drink really stood out. Definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for a healthy meal or a quality coffee break in a relaxed, stylish setting.
