Crema's Take

Pressed is a welcoming neighborhood spot where the real magic happens behind the counter—staff like Angie genuinely care about crafting both excellent coffee and made-to-order paninis, creating an experience that feels personal rather than rushed. Whether you're grabbing a specialty drink like their chai tea, exploring their Black Rifle Coffee selection, or trying something unexpected like matcha, there's a sense that someone thoughtful is putting care into every order. It's the kind of place that encourages first-time visitors to become regulars, especially if you're looking for quality food and drinks without the pretension.

As a first time mom who doesn’t get out much, I was really excited to take my husbands encouragement and go to this panini and coffee place to give it a try. Angie was working behind the counter and immediately met me with a terrible attitude. After she asked what she can get for me, I let her know it was my first time and she impatiently stood there waiting for me to order. I felt pressured to begin my order without fully reading the menu and after she asked what bread I wanted, I asked a question about the menu. She dramatically shook her head around while I was trying to get the clarity I needed and answered “what can i get you ma’am”, again rude and with impatience. I let the person behind me order so I can have an extra minute to think and when it was my turn again, I could hardly finish what I was saying before she asked another question. While waiting, the lady I let in front of me had her order ready and Angie called out the order and left it on the counter for the lady to grab. As she grabbed her food, Angie referred to her as “baby” and wished her a great day. When my order was ready, she hollered a generic and flat “here you go.” I got up making sure my dress was down, I grabbed my purse and then my baby’s stroller to head over to her all while she clutched my sandwich bag, and held a stale, impatient look on her face and stared at me as if I were an inconvenience. I took my sandwich from her and said “thank you”, and Angie just turned around and walked away without saying anything. I took my food to go and I will never come here again.
