Crema's Take

This family-owned gem near Wichita State serves up authentic Mexican breakfast and comfort food made from scratch, including some of the most praised hand-rolled corn tortillas in town. Beyond the excellent food, what keeps people coming back is the warm, efficient hospitality and that unexpected specialty touch—their cinnamon-spiced coffee served alongside traditional Mexican sugar cookies, a detail that transforms a simple meal into a memorable experience. It's the kind of unpretentious neighborhood spot where one server genuinely takes care of everyone, and the owners' care shines through in every plate that leaves the kitchen.

Just had dinner at Sazon. All aspects of the restaurant are excellent. It my new favorite place for Mexican cuisine. All five star, I would give it 10 stars across the board if I could.

Seemed like a family runs this place. There was one server for the whole place but he was very efficient and very friendly. Checked on us plenty of times! The lady who brought out the menudo called me mija and it made me feel at home. The food was amazing. Salsa had so much flavor and the menudo was one of the best we’ve had here in Wichita. We will be back when we are back in town! Good food, good service, and good people!

This place is phenomenal. Possibly the best hand made corn tortillas ever. Machaca plate was amazing. Their coffee was wonderful with cinnamon and served with Mexican sugar cookies. The sauces and salsas! Real talent in the kitchen.

Comparable to any other little diner. The service was just fine. The food was okay. I do believe it was all freshly cooked including the tortillas. If you are looking for a quick meal in the neighborhood it works. If you are expecting just a tad bit more look elsewhere.
