Boichik Bagels
1946 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA
Crema's Take
“This beloved bagel spot is drawing crowds for their genuinely excellent New York-style bagels—soft, chewy, and perfectly toasted—paired with generous schmears and fresh fillings like lox and whitefish that keep people coming back. While the counter service moves quickly and the outdoor seating by the tree offers a pleasant neighborhood vibe, the real draw is the quality of the bagels themselves, which reviewers can't stop raving about. Fair warning: this is a grab-and-go spot built for speed rather than lingering, though the friendly ownership and solid execution make it worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.”

THESE PEOPLE JUST CANNOT COUNT. Today, my advance order was for 15 and I got 14 and they have actually done worse than just one short. I just LOVE the bagels for their amazing taste, chewiness and moist texture, but they have shorted me several times when I have picked up from the Sacramento Street location which is their most convenient to me. I might just have to switch to bread. I appreciate the reply, but I would rather see the effort put into improving the process rather than me having to call and explain the issue and get a one bagel reimbursement
Nice surprise - i passed Bolchik everyday while I was going to school and finally got to stop in. Wow bagels delicious and service really good. Only thing is I didn't see coffee not sure i I missed it.
TLDR: solid bagel with ton of cream cheese The bagel spot has no searing except a few seats around the tree outside. We ordered and it took just a few minutes. We paid about $9 for a lox bagel which is a bit expensive to me. The spread was heavy handed though and the flavor was good. I really liked the egginess of the bagels
We got bagels with their delicious whitefish and also one with their yummy tuna and ate them so fast before we could take a picture. The bagels were toasted and ready under 5 minutes and service was awesome. Love this place. They told us of 2 new locations coming up, 1 on Fillmore @ Pine street, and 1 in downtown on Battery street.
Visited Boichik on opening day! Awesome addition to the neighborhood. Bagels were big, soft, and right amount of chewy. Great selection of spreads. Talked to the owner Emily for a bit and got to hear her awesome story about going from her home kitchen to what Boichik is today. Staff was really friendly and everyone was excited about the opening. We ordered 5 different bagels and they were clearly labeled and wrapped. Nowhere inside to sit and eat so get your bagels to go and stroll the neighborhood.
