Cambridge St Coffee House
1733 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, PA
Crema's Take
“Cambridge St Coffee House is a welcoming neighborhood spot in Philadelphia where you can actually settle in with your laptop and a real meal, thanks to their thoughtfully spaced tables and consistently friendly service. Their strength lies in the food—regulars rave about the creative breakfast offerings like spinach and tomato breakfast pizza and everything bagel sandwiches—though the coffee itself is a bit of a mixed bag, ranging from "slay" to "average" depending on who's pulling the shots. It's the kind of place where the staff genuinely cares (offering to-go carriers without being asked) and the vibe feels genuinely local, making it perfect for both quick bites and longer work sessions.”

Update: Revisited and tried their drip. it was ok! I got a vanilla latte for my friend and she said it was drinkable. Service was great! The sweet girl at the front offered me a carrier since it was so cold Original: Cute local coffee shop! Ample space for people to sit comfortably (does not feel cramped)
Stopped in to do some work and grab a quick bite to eat. Small coffee shop, but decent sized tables for laptops and to spread out. It was clean and service was friendly. I got the BLT with avocado on sourdough. It had fresh ingredients and a decent amount of bacon. I wish it had some type of aioli or sauce, it needed an extra kick of flavor. I also got the oreo cookie and it was also good but maybe a little overdone for my liking. I like a softer cookie. The big oreo chunks were unique though! I would consider coming back to work in the future and try other food!
Meh. Loved that they still had pumpkin spice, as it's too good to have only a few months out of the year. Hubby thought his latte was average. The vegan egg and cheese bagel was ok. Bagel was good although a little burnt but the vegan sausage which looked just like Morning Star was nuked for 30 seconds too long. So overdone it was crunchy. I would have complained but the line was long and they were busy. This is a dog friendly establishment and they give pup cups to furry friends. It's a small space and dogs make it feel a little smaller. It seemed like most people walked here, if you are driving make sure your parallel parking skills are on point. Spots are hard to come by. $25 for two cups of coffee and a burnt sandwich seemed a little steep.
My boyfriend and I have been here a few times. It’s been a while and figured we go again. The food was delicious as expected. I spent $16. They had a spinach and tomato breakfast pizza (with egg) as a special I think. It was amazing. The flavor was good and let me tell you I don’t like bland things! You can tell they didn’t just slap tomatoes and spinach on a piece of bread. The crust was good, and there were other little additions of ingredients that really pulled it together. Whoever made these pizzas put some love into it. They put a lot of cream cheese in their bagels which I appreciate!!! I also got a vanilla latte. It was good I just added more sugar (provided).
Coffee is slay! Partner loved the everything bagel sandwich with veggie sausage and the coffees! I had the avocado toast with an egg but to be honest it wasn’t well seasoned and the avocado tasted like it was smashed early and then refrigerated for a bit. Overall would definitely come back for the incredible wait staff who were all so kind and wonderful to interact with! Give this place a try! It’s very cute and great for working or catching up with friends!
