Crema's Take

Schulte's 38th Street is a genuine hometown spot that doubles as both a neighborhood convenience store and a surprisingly solid breakfast destination, where their fried chicken arrives with a perfectly seasoned crust and generous portions that keep locals coming back. The vibe is family-friendly and quick-service focused, making it the kind of place where you can grab fresh pastries and coffee or settle in for a full breakfast without pretension or a long wait.

Stopped by Schulte’s 38th Street Store & Coffee House in Great Falls and was genuinely impressed. The fried chicken was juicy and flavorful with a great, well-seasoned crust. Portions were generous and definitely worth the price — this isn’t skimpy takeout. Everything tasted fresh and filling, and the quality was better than I expected for an affordable, casual spot. If you’re in town and craving hearty comfort food, this place is a solid choice. Highly recommend!

Excellent breakfast. Fast service. Family friendly. If we weren’t just passing through this would be my go to breakfast joint. This place is everything I love in hometown breakfast place.

The chicken strips are good fresh but not so much after they have been sitting. I buy after hour food and last time was charged full price half hour before closing and the food was barley edible. I paid $24 for food I mostly threw out. I used to eat there 3 or 4 times a week as it is close to my house. After the pricing and food quality I haven't eaten there for weeks.

i really like the store and come a lot, it’s convenient to my work and they’re quick and usually cool. it’s just that one person in particular acts like you’re a criminal if you mess up the line or get confused. i do think it’s silly to have to wait in line at the back of the store even if you’re not getting something from the hot bar but i do it anyways because it’s not that big of a deal. the first time i came i didn’t really get what to do as customers end up making their own lines so sometimes there’s literally like 4 separate lines and she was aggressive about it. just feel like if it’s that common of a problem that you get upset maybe have signs?
