Good food, good coffee, knowledgeable and friendly staff. A bunch of bougie people go here, it is a bit pricey. After that statement I'm bumping that star to a 2. "We understand that pricing can feel different for everyone, but". That statement sounds a bit condescending. To use "but" afterwards is to invalidate. Sustainability should be a standard, not an extra cost.

I had high expectations for this café, but my experience was average at best. The service was generally poor, and the açaí bowl I ordered was pretty disappointing. I also ordered a latte, but it wasn’t hot when it was handed to me. Overall, it just didn’t live up to what I was hoping for.

Top notch coffee shop. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable. Several varietal choices of coffee as well as different brew methods. The croissant was very fresh and the yogurt bowl was superb. In addition everything was served by friendly servers. I recommend Lofty and hope to return again.

Wow what a beautiful coffee shop . Perched up high on the street so when you sit outside you have a beautiful view of the street . Cute bulb lights add to the ambiance . Seems like a family friendly space - plenty of seating outside . We ordered a drip coffee and a salted caramel latte - they both were good ! Definitely one of the stronger coffee shops in downtown Encinitas

Hidden away on a private hill just off the main road, it’s the perfect spot to relax, work, or just soak in the vibe with a great cup of coffee. The seating areas are super chill, whether you're grabbing your morning brew or a tasty afternoon bite. I was beyond excited when I saw they had VENEZUELAN chocolate! 🇻🇪 Being from Venezuela, I had to try it, and let me tell you, it was BOMB 💣! If you're a chocolate lover, you can't miss it. I went with a classic croissant 🥐—flaky, buttery, and delicious. My girlfriend had a chia acai bowl that was bursting with flavor—super refreshing and exactly what we were looking for in a quick pitstop. Highly recommend this place! It's definitely a 5-star spot... or should I say, 5 coffees ☕️!
