Sunny's Espresso & Gifts

Fairly priced convenience store items and they assist make delicious sandwiches! I had a buffalo chicken sandwich that I really enjoyed and it didn't take long for them to make. Friendly service. I would suggest recommend Sunny's if you're hungry or just want to make a quick stop to grab a few things. 💛👍🏼🤗🩵

I am staying at a nearby hotel while my husband has surgery at OHSU Hospital. I needed an inexpensive coffee and lunch place that I could walk to easily during a heat wave here in Portland. A quick Google search yielded this little deli that is part of Portland State University. I had one of the lunch specials which was a turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich on a croissant. It came with chips and was reasonably priced. I also got an iced soy white mocha (which is in an insulating sleeve I have). Everything was just over $15.00 and was fresh and delicious. The espresso drink was strong (much needed) and not too sweet. As I was leaving, four Portland State University maintenance employees (per their shirts) came in and seemed like regulars . They have a variety of sandwiches including all-day breakfast ones. I might have to go back tomorrow morning.

Best, creamiest, perfectly-foamy, soy milk latte I’ve ever had! 😮 They have 8 oz here which I like as I’m caffeine-sensitive and just want a nice small cup. I got a fruit container and the fruit is SO FRESH 🍓how is that possible in the middle of winter?! Whoever runs this place must really care, you can tell by the quality of everything. Super sweet service too. 10 stars, definitely a hidden gem.

I love Sunny’s! located a block away from Student Health Center at PSU, it’s a perfect stop for coffee, breakfast/lunch in between classes. I ate half of my sandwich before thinking to take a picture! They’re able to accommodate for vegan diets, and I will be adding a trip to Sunny’s to my weekly list of to dos.

Nice place, very chill atmosphere around 7am. I ordered an almond Danish and a mocha. The prices are about $2 less than a lot of coffee places. The quality isn't top tier, but it's pretty good coffee. Good deal overall.
