Crema's Take

Tucked into Industrial City, Tadaima is a intimate Japanese coffee shop where the team genuinely cares about every cup and pastry that leaves the counter—reviewers consistently rave about the warmth of the women running the space and the love baked into everything from their signature oat hojicha latte to house-brewed iced teas. Their creative specialty drinks like the kombucha latte and Japanese-inflected western pastries (like their delicate maple fig scone) strike a careful balance between innovation and restraint, proving that a small shop can offer both tradition and discovery. The line moves for a reason, and locals consider it worth the wait.

my favorite coffee shop. all the women are so friendly and make all the baked goods and drinks with love. i highly recommend the oat hochija latte and their home brewed iced teas. in the fall they have a delicious kabocha tea cake and regularly have a yuzu lemon cake and a lavender blueberry cake that are divine. i usually go during the weekdays in the early morning/afternoon and they have seating available, but it is a small space and can get busy on the weekends.

Came across this coffee shop while exploring industry city. Order their special kombucha latte and I have to say it was incredible. Would highly recommend.

It is a small Japanese coffee shop conveniently situated located in one the Industrial city places. We were waiting for our entry in a 15 minutes line, but it was worth it to get there. We loved our baked goodies. My pumpkin spice latte was tasty and decorated, Okinawa cone was chewy and sweet. We preferred real ceramic coffee cups and were served by friendly and polite ladies. Good drop by and have morning or afternoon drinks here. Recommend for all.

Great spot for Japanese-infused western sweets. Super cute store, dedicated and elegant. I love my ❤️✨maple fig scone since it was not too sweet but flavorful. Figs tasted like grapes for some reasons but I enjoyed the popping texture of the fig seeds. Love the 🩶sesame madeline! It was flavorful, rich and moist. Really a beautiful, light option. Earl grey pear muffin won’t be my first pick as the whole texture was slight too solid for me but still delicious. Cappuccino was creamy. The bean they used today was on the bitter side. Would like to try drip coffee or cold brew next time.

Not easy to find, but definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area. Normally the waiting line goes crazy, but when I got there on Arlin noon on Easter Sunday, it was only a couple before me and a couple sitting inside the cafe. I got the seasonal white sesame hot chocolate, foam was very creamy, overall very calming, not too chocolaty or sweet. Would love to add some espresso shot next time or try their famous black sesame latte. I’m not a vegan or vegetarian but loved that they offer a few options. Brought three muffins and it was still very soft when I had the next morning. Tasted more like Japanese recipe (more eggy than sugary) than American, and loved that it was not too big of a portion. Definitely will be back to try some cookies too. Highly recommend!!
