“This Greenfield tea sanctuary stands out for its exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate staff who genuinely enjoy guiding newcomers through their impressive selection of over 50 tea blends with infectious enthusiasm. Beyond traditional teas, they've earned a devoted following for creative specialty drinks like their blueberry matcha with lavender, and the thoughtfully organized shop—with tins kept separate for sniffing—creates an inviting, clean space perfect for leisurely tea exploration or meeting friends. I’m totally new to the world of tea and Autumn was incredibly helpful with all my silly questions. The tea (Jasmine Pearl) was delicious, too! Great place, I’ll be back!
Overall, an OK experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and the tea selection is great. Prices are a little high but that’s expected of any local tea shop. I do wish that they were willing to portion the teas in some “in between sizes” because I might not need a huge bag or a sample bag. 4 ounce still seems a little bit large if I wanna try multiple flavors, but there is no in between from a sample to a 4oz or larger. We also asked for a 4 ounce bag of a specific tea and they were out, but unwilling to pour a 4 ounce bag, even though they had the large container on site which seemed odd to me. My biggest gripe is that during our 20 minute visit I felt uncomfortable because one of the staff members noted sugar and sugary teas and additives on three different interactions as such a negative it made me uncomfortable even after I said, “I sometimes put sugar in my tea, but I like a variety of teas both with and without sweeteners, mostly without” to try and redirect the fixation conversation. She proceeded to ignore the fact that I gave her a hint that I was uncomfortable with the sugar comment and continued to harp on the fact that no sugar is healthy. I felt so judged that I almost put my items down and I probably could’ve spent a lot more money in time in there if they were less judgmental tea experts. I did skip getting a tea to go because I felt uncomfortable. That’s a pretty cool feature that they have there though. They do know their stuff though so I’ll still give them four stars, but be prepared for their demeanor if you start asking about different tea varieties and want to learn more about a specific type.
So grateful to have stumbled in today. The customer service was above perfect. The product knowledge and passion made me a cook for a living wanting to work there! My blueberry matcha with lavender was beyond magical.
Super friendly staff, a large selection of teas, and easy to order! I loved how clean it was, keeping the ones you can smell separate from the tins they scoup from and so. Perfect for gifts or hobby tea drinkers. Decent prices (per oz available or larger) and locally sourced honey available too!
Great selection of tea here. You can sample some tea there too. The staff are very helpful to make sure you get the tea you want. They have maybe more than 50 different blends of tea!
