The Oly Grind

The coffee is fine. Not great, just fine. However, they're rarely actually open and a lot of the time when you show up and they say they're open and their sign is on and their tip jars out and everything else, but there isn't anyone in the stand. It's ridiculous. They don't post their amended hours anywhere and have no way to contact them.

This is my favorite coffee spot in Olympia. I find a lot of coffee shops make their drinks too sweet but the Baristas at Oly Grind do an amazing job of finding the perfect balance of coffee and sweet flavors. I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect eggnog latte, not sure what type of coffee they use but it's delicious, so smooth. To the people complaining about the hours, it's a small business that has limited staffing and is often synched up with the college schedule, try to be more understanding. Price point and coffee is much better in comparison to Starbucks.

I recently visited The Oly Grind, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The moment I drove up, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly service. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, instantly making me feel at home. I ordered a caramel macchiato, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. The balance of rich espresso, creamy milk, and sweet caramel was perfect. You could tell they use high-quality beans and ingredients. The barista even added a beautiful latte art design on top, which was a nice touch. Overall, The Oly Grind exceeded my expectations in every way. The service was top-notch. If you're in the area you won't be disappointed!

I have been a frequent visitor to Oly Grind, but my experience has been increasingly disappointing. Approximately 50% of the time I go to get coffee, they are closed. This happens even during their posted business hours. I've started checking their hours before heading over, yet more often than not, the place is still inexplicably closed. On the rare occasions that I do find them open, the customer service leaves much to be desired. The staff is not very friendly, which dampens the experience even more. Consistency and a welcoming atmosphere are key for a coffee shop, and unfortunately, Oly Grind seems to be lacking both. I hope they can address these issues soon, as it has great potential if managed properly.
