Sahara Hookah Bar
702 W Peace St, Raleigh, NC
Crema's Take
“This Raleigh spot masterfully blends hookah lounge culture with genuine specialty coffee craft, where you'll find yourself lingering over a French coffee that locals rave about while sharing pastries (the pistachio ones are legendary) with friends in an atmosphere that genuinely welcomes you. The team—particularly Cedric and Mohamed—creates an unusually hospitable experience where they'll work with your requests and actually make you feel at home, though it's worth noting the pricing can catch you off guard if you don't check the menu first.”

Got some french coffee and it was the best I’ve ever had. The guy managing the place was really sweet and helpful even though me and my friends had a lot of requests! I’ll definitely visit again next time I’m in Raleigh.
Absolutely amazing place. We came from chsrlotte to try. Great hookuh, great atmosphere and great food. Must try again.
I stumbled upon this hookah lounge through Google and couldn’t be happier that I did. Cedric and Mohamed were incredibly accommodating and genuinely hospitable—made us feel welcome. I tried Turkish coffee for the first time here, and it absolutely blew my mind; rich, bold, and unforgettable. The blueberry mint hookah was perfectly balanced and super refreshing. The atmosphere, service, and quality all came together for an amazing experience.
Amazing vibes. Always a good spot to ring in a Friday with friends and some good old dose of Vibe coding! #iykyk The pistachio pastry is to die for! I might even add “Blue Mist” as the icing on the cake. Try it at your own risk! Thank me later. ✌🏾
Over priced and hidden charges. Do Not Order Anything here without checking menu and prices first. Ordered just a hot tea and a coffee and billed 21$. I thought it’s just tea and coffee and won’t cost crazy much. Asked for the menu and prices and there was no clear answer to my request. The tea was a normal tea bag with hot water cup. And the coffee was Turkish And fairly portioned. Overall I felt they had hidden prices and not welcoming service. Will not return.
