Koko Coffee
255 State St, Boston, MA
Crema's Take
“Nestled in South Boston, this neighborhood gem has earned its stellar reputation as much for the genuine warmth of its staff and welcoming atmosphere as for its expertly crafted lattes and standout pastries. Whether you're grabbing an exceptional cold brew on the go or settling in for a slow morning over breakfast, you'll find yourself in a thoughtfully designed space that feels like a true community hub. The pastries here deserve special mention—reviewers keep coming back specifically for items like their chocolate chip muffins and breakfast offerings that rival the coffee itself.”

so this is genuinely one of the most heartfelt experiences i've had—i just need to share it. koko in south boston is not just a coffee shop (its one of the best in Boston oooof); it’s a place filled with kindness. my friend, who’s a coffee fanatic, loves it there. she was sitting at koko on her birthday, and i called them. i just casually mentioned her special day, and they surprised her with an almond croissant on the house. i mean, who does that? the staff is always smiling, always warm, and the coffee is top-notch. but honestly, what makes koko stand out is that they care. it’s not just about the food or drinks—it’s about the joy they bring. forever grateful.
Perfect latte, delicious pastry and a nice aesthetic. Loved the place
So happy to have Koko Coffee in the neighborhood! The staff is so friendly, the vibes are great, and it’s such a cute, welcoming space. I’ve tried the quesadilla and the breakfast burrito so far—both were super fresh and really good. Prices are really reasonable too. Definitely excited to keep coming back!
Was taking a walk around the city and saw that KoKo Coffee opened a new location right close by. Just steps away from South End, I can finally get some amazing coffee. Definitely worth a visit!! The Cinnamon Bun Latte & Caprese Sandwich are my go to items. I hope they come to South End next 😍
Great new neighborhood coffee shop! Clean cute spot and very friendly staff! Ordered an iced latte and chocolate chip muffin which were both delicious; probably one of the best chocolate chip muffins I’ve had - definitely homemade with a lot of chocolate!
