The Shack Cafe

This checks the boxes for all of the great characteristics of a good ole breakfast diner. Hot coffee that never dropped below half full (due to the great service), corned beef hash, and opens by 7AM so you have time to grab a bite before hitting the mountain! This will be my go to breakfast diner for whenever I visit Steamboat!

My family came in Monday for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. I don't usually write reviews but Not only was our food incredible (no complaints) but our server went above and beyond! despite it being busy our server (I believe her name was Erin) was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We have been here before were we seemed rushed and the atmosphere was less inviting, but her service made my family feel welcomed even when my children were a little rowdy. She also handled a guest who was rude with grace and professionalism. I can't express enough how grateful we are for her patience and wonderful service. We will definitely be back!

Quaint little restaurant in the heart of town. Hearty, delicious portions. Very friendly staff.

My go to for breakfast, food is always really good. The coffee its amazing. Service 4 michelin star. Food comes out so fast is unreal. This place is perfect.

Group of 7 stopped here while we were doing some shopping in town, and we all left full as could be for a pretty good price. The service was really fast too, would absolutely come back here. 10/10. - Make sure to order a side biscuit and gravy (it was too good to resist!).
