Da Vinci's Donuts
5610 Glenridge Dr, Sandy Springs, GA
Crema's Take
“This Sandy Springs gem trades frilly pastry cases for a focused, made-fresh approach where they build customized cake donuts from a single base, letting quality shine over variety. Amber and the team radiate genuine enthusiasm about their menu, turning a quick donut run into a conversation where you actually feel guided rather than rushed—the kind of place where regulars come back five times in a few weeks because the warmth matches the value.”

Amber was awesome from the moment of arrival. She knew about everything on the menu. Her ability to practice patience is a rare find in the food service industry. Amber helped me decide which donuts was best. She suggested coffee for me too. The store was clean. There was no wait time. I enjoyed the birthday donuts. Thank you Amber for making my visit so pleasant.
First time trying this place. $19 for 16 donuts is a great deal. I normally pay $20 at krispy Kreme for 12 donuts which can't compete with these. Keep in mind these donuts are more cakey and thicker dough so if you are expecting light and fluffy, then might not be for you. If you want a fuller donut with more cake texture, then try these out. I love that you can customize donuts if you dont want the selection they have for the day. You can choose ur icing, topping, and then drizzle and they cost the same price as the every other donut. They even let me fill mine with blueberry or strawberry jelly. Didn't try the coffee with looks great. I see they had donut cakes too for order. I will say the only thing I did wish could be different is more flavor in the base donuts dough they use. A little more vanilla or brown sugar, but I understand they need it neutral to fit any request or flavor profile.
Arrived a bit before lunch time and appears to have been a busy day for this mini donut shop. Staff was very friendly and helpful explaining what the difference options available were. We got a birthday cake donut, a sprinkles donut, a samoa donut and a strawberry shortcake donut. The donuts were very flavorful, but we're a bit try for my liking... But overall good.
Such a cute establishment with the nicest staff! I worked in Sandy Springs for a few weeks and stopped in on a whim - I’ve been back 5 times during my stay. It’s about 10 mins from northside hospital during afternoon traffic. So many creative, fun flavors and they always have great options even when I stop in 30 mins before closing time. 10/10 would recommend. I got these as a going away present for my team and everyone loved them! I got French toast, java chip, cinnamon roll, Oreo, strawberry shortcake, birthday cake, chocolate iced, and vanilla with sprinkles. They also make amazing lattes with oat milk! Today I spent $19 for the 16 donuts and on a previous trip I spent $13 for a latte and 4 donuts.
Stopped by this donut shop to give it a try. It’s a small space but has a pretty neat setup. They make one type of cake donut as the base and then customize it with different toppings. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of cake donuts, so overall, it was just okay for me. That being said, some of the toppings stood out—the maple bacon donut was definitely the best, and the Samoa was also pretty good. The others, though, were a bit underwhelming. The cinnamon donut was especially disappointing—really dry and lacking any actual cinnamon flavor. Not sure I’d come back, but it was cool to try something different. If you’re into cake donuts, it might be worth checking out, but if not, it’s probably a one-time visit.
