Crema's Take
“This charming Worcester spot excels at the art of the quick, satisfying bite—whether you're grabbing a flaky croissant with truffle home fries for Sunday brunch or ordering a custom birthday cake with just hours' notice. The owner clearly cares about freshness and quality, with standout pastries like their tiramisu cake and empanadas that keep people coming back, all served in a genuinely clean, welcoming space that feels like a real neighborhood gathering place.”

When the café 1st opened, I was excited (retired Chef from Boston) to try some sweets. I spoke a gent who was the owner, who I asked are they fresh, as I gravitated a banana muffin or cake, towards a glass casing filled w/sweets. He informed me that they were fresh and can be stored in the display for 3 months. I went to gift it to the Chef at his restaurant on Main St (a close friend of mine) and he declined as the cake looked aged. Even the prep lady declined. I think it's a cultural thing. American bakeries aren't in the custom of selling 1-2-3 month old "fresh" pastries. It was a bit embarrassing. The owner was very nice, and honest, though.
Ordered a last minute customized cake for my bestie’s birthday. I gave the order in the morning and yeah the cake was ready by evening!! We really loved the Tiramisu cake and the taste was amazing! Thank you so much for this beautiful cake:) Highly recommended!
First time here. I got a steak quesadilla that was very good but very simple. Basically a steak and cheese in a pita, but yummy. I ate half because it was filling, along with a fresh guava juice, which was perfect. My friends ordered the special (one chicken, one steak) which was priced really well and looked very healthy and yummy. The bakery items are great, too!
I went there for Sunday brunch and got the breakfast sandwich. It was so good, the grilled ham was a nice change of pace and the Croissant was so flaky and buttery; and the truffle home fries were a fantastic side dish. I ended up going to the counter and picking up some pastries as well, the Apple Cider donut is a must get!
Great place. The empanadas are amazing here. The staff is very polite and the overall vibe is awesome. The place is always real clean and the food always fresh. Def recommend if you’re in the downtown Worcester area.
