Karlita's Cafe

Karlitas is delicious. I had breakfast there today and the food was really great. If you’re in key west, be sure to check it out. The service was quick and the food tasted delicious.

Oh man. These folks can cook! We had the Huevos Rancheros, the Cuban Mix sandwich, and the carnitas burrito and taco. The Rancheros were the best I have ever had. My husband's Cuban Mix sandwich was gone in a couple minutes. Carnitas were excellent as well. Highly recommended.

Birria burrito is decent and the hot sauce good. But also ordered an omelette for $13 and got 2 eggs over hard with cheese on top. Extremely disappointed for the money.

We’ve been stopping here for two years in a row on our way from Miami to Key West - it’s our little tradition now! They moved to a new location about three months ago, so if it looks different from the place you remember - don’t worry, it’s the same Karlita’s, just a new spot. As always, the food is delicious, the staff is super friendly, and the Cuban coffee… oh my god, it kills anyone who’s not used to such strong coffee 😂

This is definitely “don’t judge a book by its cover” territory. We randomly stopped by for breakfast and had breakfast sandwiches. They were pretty big, and came with a hashbrown. The hashbrown was ok (and was better suited IN the sandwich). Def worth a stop.
