Crema's Take

This waterfront bakery feels like a cherished local secret, where the almond croissants and baguettes are genuinely exceptional and the coffee pairs perfectly with pastries that strike an impressive balance between indulgence and restraint. The setting overlooking the waterways creates an unhurried atmosphere that invites you to linger, whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a leisurely breakfast with friends and family. Regulars return again and again—some even plan trips to Hilton Head around visits here—drawn by consistently excellent pastries, thoughtful staff recommendations, and that rare quality of a place that simply gets the fundamentals right.

This is a delightful little bakery. It was a chilly day but the setting on the waterways overlooking the Disney Resort was lovely.

Loved every single thing we got here and we ordered 4 pastries, a quiche, and a sandwich. My only critique would be the quiche was a little heavy on potato and light on egg but it was tasty and I adore that it comes with a great little salad. I will be thinking about and craving the prosciutto sandwich for weeks!

The baguette and almond croissant were simply amazing! The lemon tarte was good but could be a bit more ‘ tarte’.. lacking a bit of the lemon flavor. Same for the keylime pie. It was good but my palate was begging for a bit more of the lime. But I highly recommend this bakery and will definitely return.

Do I come to Hilton Head specifically for this bakery? Just maybe 😂 Seriously, this place is a staple, everyday stop when I’m in town. Amazing coffee and the pastries are to die for. The staff is always friendly. I love sitting outside and enjoying the harbor views, but the new inside expansion was nice for the more mornings. I know I’ll always be back!

My sweet tolerance has been significantly decreased over the years but this place had the perfect amount of “sweet” in everything. A nice lady was there who advised that I try the raspberry macron because I didn’t want anything super sweet. It was so good that I had to come back and get another one right before we left. The Pain Aux Raisin was pretty good too. Must visit here if you have a sweet tooth while here.
