They make their own syrups! Louie loves getting a doggie biscuit and compliments on his bangs. He and his people love the veggie breakfast burrito. Protein shake is also excellent.

A wide selection of specialty coffees as well as the regular offerings. Some different flavors from what I’ve seen in the area. Barista was very cheerful & helpful. My coffee and burrito came out in about five minutes. Would return!

Service is way too slow and prices are way too high. This used to be our go to coffee shop but they are always understaffed and the wait times have become unbearable for mediocre coffee and food, especially given the prices they now charge. I feel bad for the staff there but there are so many better options now in the area.

Save your time and sanity, and go somewhere else. Bjorn’s Brew is 2 minutes away, fast, and serve outstanding coffee. After my tenth visit to Honest Abe’s Coffee today and attempt to buy something, I am giving up, since **I’ve never been able to order anything**, they’re randomly closed during their hours of operation (plainly stated as 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM). If there’s a car or two in front, don’t expect to get served. On my first visit, I waited behind one car for 15 minutes, and nobody answered or said anything on the speaker. Today, finally, it appeared that I would have a chance to try it out… When I pulled up to the speaker at 7:43, not a sound. I drove up to the window, and someone was clearly inside and clearly saw me, and still, nothing. I finally noticed a tiny, torn post-it note (see attached) saying they would open at 8:00. The barista made no attempt to explain while I sat there before seeing the “sign”. If the owner or manager reads these reviews, your business does not function in the AM hours. I have seen more cars drive away in frustration than actually be served, and count myself among that demographic. The building is dingy and dirty, there’s bits of duct tape smattered about. Some coffee shops can get away with that sort of “dive” appearance because they serve excellent products, but this just looks neglected and badly run. How this little coffee shack can stay in business is beyond my comprehension, speaking as the former general manager of a local coffee franchise with multiple locations. They must serve something to someone… I just don’t know what. I hate to think it, but I cannot imagine that it will be in business much longer. I don’t recall ever leaving a one star review before (or many reviews of any rating), because they tend to offset the overall average and typically come from someone that’s freaking out over one visit or tiny detail. In my case, I simply don’t know how else to rate a business that’s incapable of serving a willing customer that’s ready to pay.

Honest Abe's touts less sugar with more flavor and man do they deliver. Their Coffees are amazing! Many specialty coffees and food as well. Try their vegetarian burrito. Many ingredients acome straight from their own garden. This place definitely does coffee right!
