Bb Tee House

Crema's Take
“This cute Philadelphia newcomer specializes in Vietnamese coffee drinks, particularly their standout signature egg foam coffee that's genuinely hard to find elsewhere in the city. Beyond the beverages, they've carved out a niche with authentic Vietnamese snacks and pastries, a thoughtful combo pricing structure, and an aesthetic interior that feels both welcoming and worth a visit. The friendly staff and quality ingredients make this worth seeking out if you're craving something more distinctive than standard boba shops, though their tea base could use some refinement.”

For the drink, the boba is bad (too sweet and soft) and the tea is meh, but the cheese foam is sooo good. Heard that their cà phê muối is not bad as well. They also sell different vnese snacks. Bánh tráng cuốn is pretty good but they need to figure out how to not let each piece stick to each other. Not a lot of seating
My smoothie came melt and with out straw or have to specify if straws are sold separately. Additionally found nail and a sticker inside of one of the smoothies. So disgusting …
Among the numerous establishments in Philly offering boba and similar mixed drinks, BB TEE HOUSE is notable for its signature egg foam coffee, a drink I haven't found elsewhere. The availability of Vietnamese food items and snacks is also nice. I find myself inclined to return frequently, primarily for this signature coffee. However, at $7.50, I feel I'm not getting my money's worth due to the preparation. The cup is often filled extensively with crushed ice, while the actual coffee is only about a quarter of the volume, which doesn't entirely permeate the ice before the egg foam is added. For this reason I have to take 1 star off until the next time I return and there's less ice and more coffee and foam! On the other hand, I have enjoyed other beverages from BB TEE HOUSE, and the service has consistently been prompt.
This is a really cute new shop. I love the aesthetic of the interior and all the desserts and extras they sell inside. The staff is also very friendly. I appreciate that they have combo deals and that their prices are lower compared to the ever rising price of banh mi these days. I always want to support Vietnamese small businesses but my issue with the banh mi was that the house special only contained a thin slice of cha lua and no thit nguoi. I would expect the house special sandwich to be loaded but it was mostly bread and some veggies so I was disappointed. I would come back to try the teas but the banh mi was unfortunately not really worth the money for me.
Cute new option for Vietnamese snacks and coffee/bubble tea. I got a few different snacks and coffee to try and loved them all, especially the egg coffee. Very friendly staff! Look forward to coming back again!
