Crema's Take

This cozy Goleta spot has quickly become a local favorite for its skillfully crafted espresso drinks and fresh pastries, with regulars raving about standout creations like the honey vanilla iced latte. The friendly staff moves efficiently even during rushes, striking that perfect balance between a quick grab-and-go spot and a place worth lingering in, and they've clearly invested in both their coffee program and the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it feel like a genuine neighborhood gathering place.

I came in last Sunday and while my drink was alright, I saw on the back counter near the register a used ZYN just laying there along with the container. INSANE

Ive gone to Kozy 2-3 times a week this quarter! I love this place, best coffee and pastries around! I get the honey vanilla iced latte and they always make it to perfection and so yummy. Staff is super friendly and get my order out so quick.

This place has the potential to be very good as the atmosphere is cozy and also the workers are very friendly. However, I have given this place many chances and I am always disappointed with the preparation of my coffee. I tried the Pumpkin Chai latte and not only was the drink lukewarm but it just tasted like they put a whole bottle of pumpkin syrup and 10 tablespoons of cinnamon. I love chai flavored drinks but this was not it. It seems like every time I get a drink from here, they overdo it on the flavors making it too sweet and not the right balance. They need to rethink their recipes and get the right ratio of ingredients to make the drink pleasant. The same thing happened last year when I took my friend here and she had to return her drink too because the flavors were too overpowering. On top of that, you are already paying a lot for a drink so it is frustrating that the drink is lukewarm and you can't even finish drinking it. I was better off making my coffee at home.
