Middle Grounds Coffee
114 S 11th St, Nashville, TN
Crema's Take
“Middle Grounds is a breath of fresh air in Nashville's coffee scene, born from owner Shane's inspiring hustle and now a genuine community gathering spot that feels more like a stylish sanctuary than a café. Beyond expertly crafted specialty drinks like the Flower Child and a thoughtful cortado, what sets this place apart is the warm, welcoming energy that fills every corner—a stark contrast to the corporate chains around town. From the elegant modern décor to the carefully curated pastries, every detail reflects Shane's dream-turned-reality passion for creating a space where people actually want to linger and connect.”

Best Coffee shop in town, the owner Shane is such a welcoming and refreshing vibe from the rest of the shops in town. Beyond the amazing drinks and delicious treats, the atmosphere and community she has built is something much needed and appreciated by everyone who walks through those doors. Rooting for Middlegrounds, best new shop in town without a question !!!!
Started in the back of a warehouse to her own coffee haven- proof that dreams brew into reality. Thank you for the hospitality.
Found this place on Instagram. It's an inspiring story of a young woman who works two jobs (she is also a bartender) to live a dream of owning a coffee shop. She also has cortado on the menu and it's a good one. Rooting for her success.
The decor is elegant and nice, very chic and modern. A sense of peace fills this quaint coffee shop. I had the pleasure of having an iced Specialty Drink called the Flower Child. I paired it with the cinnamon toast. Both were delicious and I savored every bite of the toast. Service was good and she seemed like she genuinely liked her job serving others.
Middle Grounds is a welcomed addition to the Nashville coffee scene and such a nice departure from the “corporate” coffee places we have in town. It’s cozy, cute, and really fits in well with the East vibe. The coffee is great and the staff were super helpful. I’d definitely recommend checking it out! PS the little front porch area was my fav.
