Crema's Take
“The consistency here is what keeps people coming back for years—regulars praise Smooth Joe for making the same excellent espresso drinks day after day, which is rarer than you'd think. It's genuinely become a third space for the neighborhood, with enough quiet corners and reliable wifi that homeschooling parents and remote workers have claimed it as their own, plus the gluten-free and dairy-free pastry selection is a real standout if you have dietary restrictions.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

This lovely neighborhood coffee shop has excellent coffee and SEVERAL gluten free/dairy free pastry options. I enjoyed an almond milk flat white and slice of almond Bundt cake!

Drip coffee was affordable with a good offering of breakfast items and non coffee drinks. The atmosphere is conducive for talking and working. Wifi and access to a few outlets if you need to plug in your laptop.
