Awesome little spot for fun Matcha drinks. The egg sando was perfectly fluffy and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their drinks - Pandan Matcha, Banana Cream Matcha, and Taro Matcha with salted foam.
Great place, definitely lives up to the hype. Love the matcha, which is so hard to come by these days and meets my standards. Desserts were okay, but the ube cookie was the standout for the food we bought. Will definitely need to come back to try the hojicha and matcha flight. Plus they have a touch screen you can order from which is a huge bonus. Main con I will say is that they don’t write names on the cups and aren’t very good at calling out names, hence the 4 star service rating. I only noticed my drink was ready when I noticed people in line behind me got their drinks before I did. Mine was just sitting on the counter.
This is definitely matcha heaven! They have matcha flight if you want to explore their matcha options. It’s so crowded when I come because of the matcha fever and I know I’m in a good spot. I had: 1. Fruit flight: strawberry, mango, blueberry jasmine cloud, banana ube cloud 2. Matcha einspanner 3. Original matcha latte with strawberry cloud
Matching matches, anyone? Even if you’re the odd one out (read: coffee lover), there are options available for all caffeine lovers at Vivot cafe’s newest location in Mission Viejo. From Vietnamese coffee to Cambodian inspired Khmai milk tea, rest assured there is more than just matcha to be found here. This is not a spot to be missed for the matcha lovers out there, however. Vivot’s matcha is strong without a grassy after taste. It has a sweet, floral flavor profile. Drinks can be made with alternative milks, including coconut milk, which makes for a smooth matcha pairing. There is a good amount of indoor seating and this cafe is open late, as well! Great new addition to the area.
The space is stylish and modern, with a clean minimal aesthetic. Lots of white surfaces, plants, large windows letting in daylight — gives it a bright, fresh, welcoming feel. Perfect for studying, catching up with friends, or taking a break. They have free WiFi, plenty of seating (though busy periods fill up quickly), and the atmosphere tends to lean toward mellow and calm during non‑peak times. If you like matcha, this place is a treat. They offer many flavored matcha lattes (strawberry, mango, white peach, etc.), multiple matcha “flights” (like the Fruit Matcha Flight or Cream Cloud Flight) so you can try several flavors in one go. Also, your matcha strength and milk choice are custom‑able, which is a big plus. If you like your matcha strong, or want oat/almond milk, you don’t always get hit with surcharges (or at least many reviewers report no upcharge).
