Freya's

Crema's Take
“Freya's is a crepe-focused café that doubles as a gelato bar with an unexpectedly adventurous spirit—the chai chocolate spice gelato spiked with cayenne and the gluten-free salmon crepe are the kinds of creative moves that justify a detour off the Maine coast. The deck views and cozy interior make it an ideal afternoon destination, though come hungry since the savory crepe selection is limited and the generous gelato portions can feel like the main event. Friendly service and a solid beer and hard cider selection round out what locals clearly love as a genuine all-purpose gathering spot.”
What to expect
Specialty coffee, with creative signature drinks. Slow-sit spot. Pastries and light food on the menu.

The vibes are immaculate. The location is gorgeous. And, the food? It's hard for me to find a place that can accommodate my dietary restrictions. (Even just Gluten-Free can be challenging in Maine in 2026) Harder still to find one that can do so without a long or awkward…
This place is incredible! The quality of the coffee and crepes is spot on and it provides quite a delightful atmosphere for sitting and enjoying time together with your loved ones or just a special treat for yourself! 10/10
Lovely crepe restaurant with delicious gelato and sorbet, I had a cone of the dark chocolate and it was delicious, and the portion was very generous. Sheila is super friendly and kind. I was introduced to Freya's in an unusual way, although it is street-front on your way to the…
Cute little spot. We grabbed some sorbetto and gelato - my chai chocolate spice was a surprising enjoyment (cayenne pepper was not overpowering, great blend). I usually shy away from that stuff.
I thought this was just a coffee place, but they also have hard cider and beer! The decor and vibe are on point, and the service is excellent. If you’re looking for a spot to grab a coffee, drink, snack, or ice cream — this is the spot. The outside balcony has a picturesque view…
I'd give 5 stars if the menu had a few more options for savory crepes. Only three options when we stopped. The crepes were delicious though! The view from the deck is lovely, inside seating is cozy. Also had gelato, smooth and tasty.
