Lost Parrot Cafe
1929 Huntington Dr, San Gabriel, CA
Crema's Take
“Lost Parrot Cafe is a charming San Gabriel spot that excels at both crafted coffee and thoughtfully made food, with regulars raving about their iced chai latte and creative breakfast offerings like their standout BLTA sandwich. The relaxed, self-service vibe and abundant outdoor seating make it equally perfect for a solo coffee break or hosting a gathering of 45 people, and the friendly team clearly takes pride in making every visit feel special. Whether you're after a precisely pulled espresso drink or planning a celebration, this is the kind of neighborhood cafe where the quality of every element—from the coffee strength to the pastries—shows they actually care.”

I tried out their blta breakfast sandwich today and it did not disappoint. You order and pay at the counter first, as you walk in then grab a seat with your number. They don't check up on you, it's a self serving place where you can get a cup of water at the water station, along with condiments (ketchup, sugar packets, napkins, to go box) by the center of the store. It's self seating also, so pick and choose to sit either inside or out front patio. Best to park on the lot at the back, by Fletcher Ave, off Huntington Drive, in South Pasadena.
Love this spot! It was the perfect place to host our baby shower. The space is adorable and the staff organized the tables/chairs perfectly…it allowed us to have about 45 friends and family celebrate that evening. The food and drinks were amazing, we had family constantly getting up for more. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue, thanks to the Mark and the team for making everything stress free and magical
absolutely adore this place. soooo cute, very friendly workers, food was so good. Good amount of outdoor seating! Food and drinks l came out very fast. best iced chai latte I have ever had. would love to go back :)
We just held a private event at Lost Parrot. Mark and the team were a pleasure to work with and the event was an absolute success. The drinks were amazing and the tacos did not disappoint. We come here often and have never had a disappointing meal. 10/10 recommend.
I was blown away by the quality and taste of the food, and the coffee. We ordered an iced latte and an iced mocha (both were super delicious!). It had the right amount of strength to them. We had the Smash Burger with Cilantro Lime Fries and the Garden Ranch Salad with Carne Asada. Oh my goodness! Words cannot describe the creaminess of the avocado (it says so on the menu), the meat was juicy, tender, and I cooked medium rare, just right for me, and the ranch dressing was awesome. The cilantro lime fries were really crispy and you could taste the hint of lime and cilantro. We found a table on the sidewalk and basked in the sun for a lovely afternoon. They open seven days a week from 7am to 4 pm, and the kitchen closes at 3, but on Tuesdays they are open from4 to 7 pm for their Taco Tuesday Night. I can't wait to try their tacos. I'm sure they're great. Until then, I will keep everyone posted.
