Crema's Take

This tiny downtown Portland gem is built on exceptional espresso work, especially if you catch Ian pulling shots—regulars swear his cortados are among the best in the city. Beyond the coffee expertise, Bom Dia strikes that rare balance of being both a serious specialty coffee destination and a genuinely welcoming space where you'll want to linger, with excellent pastries from Seconds Bakery and a chatty, comfortable vibe that keeps visitors coming back every morning of their stay.

If you are looking for a great cup of coffee...not just a good one, but great...let Ian make you a Cortado...he might make the best coffee in the city. If you got a hankerin' for something colder and on the sweeter side, try a Maxx'd Out. And, their bagels are fresh from Union and you gotta have one. The crew here is super friendly and welcomes everyone with a smile!

Great drinks and a nice atmosphere in which to enjoy them. Cute, little place in a great location, walking distance to the rest of downtown and the hotels. This is our second year coming here and we'll be back again next time.

Excellent service, excellent products, in a comfortable atmosphere. We stayed in Portland Friday-Monday. We visited every morning we were there. Absolute must if you like your morning coffee, cortado, espresso ECT.

The food is amazing, especially the baked goods which come from Seconds Bakery. Service isn’t that quick and the staff are quite chatty which may or may not be your shtick, but either way I’m coming back for the delicious food, pastries and coffee. In particular the orange cardamom morning bun was out of this world. The cafe is on the smaller side while still having plenty of indoor seating and a few tables on the street. There are a few steps required to get down into the restaurant, so not necessarily the best for strollers/wheelchairs.

Came around 730 am on a Monday morning. Very fast service. Easy street parking nearby. Food is delicious. Cool shop decor. Lots of nice healthy touches … recyclable to go containers, sanitizer for drink bottles, etc. the açaí bowl was great. No extra sugar or sweetener which I appreciate.
