Crema's Take
“This early-opening Wilmington gem excels at crafting both traditional and creative specialty drinks, with standout options like their Chi Latte and smooth cold brew that pair beautifully with inventive pastries like egg florentine biscuits with mango chutney. While the exposed brick and busy atmosphere create genuine character, the casual vibe works best for solo coffee lovers or quick meetings rather than those seeking attentive service, and you might want to skip the almond milk to let their quality coffee shine on its own.”

Let's get into this review! We didnt order any food. We went for hot cocoa and coffee. Our server was "dry" with no suggestions for a first time visitor. I mean made zero attempts to recommend anything. I tried to compare some thing I would get at Starbucks but nothing prompted a real response. There was this awkward silence as I searched for something that piqued my interest. Finally, I just went with something that sounded like it might taste good. It was okay! Let's get to the good part. We decided to sit and talk a bit. Guess what, they had a live 2 man band. Now this was right up my alley so I relaxed a bit and enjoyed some time talking and tapping my foot to the beat. I think I will come back to this location. Parking was convenient because there's an adjacent lot with just a short walk to the entrance.
Yummy Chi Latte w/ oat milk & egg florentine biscuit with mango chutney!
I had only an ice coffee; which tasted fine. Although I chose almond milk, and conclude it most likely would had been better without it, almond taste too strong for my liking. The lady who served me was friendly and helpful. I appreciate her customer service skills.
Great coffee and food, it's typically busy and they don't have any tapestries on the wall, so there's a lot of echo around the room. They do have an overflow coffee pour pot which is nice. Some people pour their extra coffee in the garbage, which leads to a terrible experience for the employees. On Sunday mornings they have live music which is entertaining.
Brew HaHa! – A Cozy Café Stop in Wilmington, DE While exploring Wilmington, I made a pit stop at Brew HaHa!’s Trolley Square location—and I’m so glad I did. This charming little café is full of personality, great flavors, and just the right amount of local flair. I ordered the hot strawberries and cream latte, and it was the perfect cozy drink for the day. The espresso was smooth, and the touch of strawberry brought a nostalgic sweetness without being overpowering. It’s like sipping comfort in a cup. To go along with it, I tried the Cobb salad topped with chipotle ranch dressing. It was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly hearty. The smoky kick of the chipotle ranch took it to a whole new level—definitely not your average salad! The atmosphere at the Trolley Square spot is warm, laid-back, and inviting. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, Brew HaHa, they make you feel right at home. Melissa was an absolute gem ! She was the cashier yesterday when I went. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their creative menu.
