Magic Donuts & Coffee
1675 Mariposa St, San Francisco, CA
Crema's Take
“This San Francisco spot elevates the humble donut into something genuinely special, crafting creative flavors like campfire and lemon meringue with a light hand on the sugar and generous, flavorful fillings that justify the price. The real magic here is their pillowy dough that never feels heavy, paired with thoughtfully balanced toppings—though their generosity with filling sometimes inspires dreams of extra plain donuts to match. Whether you're grabbing a quick pastry between errands or treating yourself to their signature creations, the casual, family-friendly vibe and speedy service mean you can get in, get these incredible donuts, and be on your way.”

It was a delivery order so I can't really rate the atmosphere. I ordered 5 donuts for an extremely pricy sum once you factor in Uber Eats delivery fees. After delivery, discovering only 4 of the 5 donuts were in the box wasn't a great way to begin my Saturday. These are $5 a pop y'all, the least you can do is double-check to make sure you got my order right. -_-
We stopped here for breakfast and OMG these donuts are incredible. Good variety, we liked both their old fashioned donuts as well as their novelty ones (the campfire one was my favorite, with a dark chocolate glaze with a giant marshmallow on top). Their coffee is also very good. Overall, great stop for breakfast or a mid day snack
Easy fast service after eating brunch next door! Good: - Lots of fun flavors - we got the blueberry, the lemon meringue and the glazed - Pretty sweet donuts, but weren't overwhelming - No line! - Beautiful interior Bad: - Not much seating indoors for a group Overall this was a nice experience and the outdoor seating was perfect for our group of 4!
It's a donut. Great eye-candy and they went light on the mouth-candy (it's not sugary sweet is what I'm getting at here). Packed with filling so the prices are understandable. Black forest one was a bit lackluster with nothing particularly special about it. Just a mouth full of cream and cherries. The shop is cute! I love the theming. It's a nice treat if you're around the area.
Love the dough! Not too heavy. Toppings are good flavour wise but a bit too much filling 😅😅 tried the maple pecan and lemon meringue - could use all that filling for another plain donut 😂 Coffee was good and strong but not filled to the top - pricey for the portion :/ — update The pumpkin cheesecake was surprisingly SO good and we don’t even like pumpkin flavored usually. Definitely try their donuts with cream, that’s the best part as it’s not too heavy or sweet. the glazed ones are pretty average.
