Crema's Take

Tucked in Clayton, this espresso-focused roastery pairs thoughtfully crafted drinks—from seasonal creations like their beloved Sweater Weather to precise pour overs—with an attached bakery that fills the space with the irresistible aroma of fresh bread. While the coffee quality earns consistent praise for its flavor and care, the experience can be hit-or-miss depending on who's behind the counter, though when the staff is on, service moves quickly and the intimate seating feels just right for lingering with a friend.

Overall, I was not happy. The drinks themselves were really good, but the service was not. The two baristas were rude to me and my friends. This was the first time we have been here and definitely have no plans to come back because of the service. We had such high hopes because it shares a space with great harvest and we love that company

Cute little coffee shop with a bakery in the back. Tried the sweater weather later off the seasonal menu and it’s my new favorite drink, really good and not overly sweet. The bakery in the back smelled good but did not try.

Got both coffee and matcha here. The coffee was okay, not too bad but I was not a fan of it. The matcha was light for my taste. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Not much seating here and is mostly just for takeaway.

This is a great place for a morning cup of coffee. This is my second time here. They have a freshly baked bread place in the back. There are enough tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your coffee. From ordering to receiving the coffee, it was pretty fast. Parking here are mostly street parking.

I stopped here for an early morning coffee with a friend. The aroma of the bakery was amazing, but I didn’t try any of that stuff this time. My fresh brewed coffee was flavorful with a nice touch of mellowness. The service was friendly and attentive. I don’t know if they serve the coffee in real cups. They didn’t ask, not did I. Overall, a good experience and I’d come back.
