Alright... I stopped by Cafe Dolce on my way home from visiting a jobsite for work. I was tired, the weather was bad, and all I wanted was a halfway decent cup of coffee to keep me sharp on my drive and maybe something sweet to take the edge off. Let me tell you, I did not expect a world class class latte and pastry, but that's exactly what I got. I ordered a medium mocha latte and an almond croissant. The latte was the perfect drinking temperature right away. No oversteamed milk. The barista has a steady hand and casual expertise. The coffee itself was excellent. Top tier flavor, nice and rich. I like my coffee strong and this definitely is, but without tasting burned or overly bitter. The mocha flavor was very cocoa forward and not too sweet. It allowed the espresso to be the dominant flavor, which I absolutely loved. The first thing I noticed anout the almond croissant was that it was exceptionally heavy. It was dense. A very good sign. One bite and I was in heaven. The almond paste filling may have just been pure marzipan. It was thick, full of crushed almond, and fantastically satisfying. The croissant itself was flakey, puffy, and buttery. Everything about this visit substantially surpassed my expectations and I cannot recommend Cafe Dolce enough. Truly magnificent food and drink.

Great place with extremely pleasant workers and amazing food and drinks. Once I ordered a drink, it was knocked out of my hand after leaving the store, and they replaced it no charge with smiles. Another time it was a Monday and I didn't realize they were closed, the door was unlocked and I came in and the owner served me anyways as I got a cold brew (which they had ready even on a Monday). So pleasant, amazing pastries, and some of the best service I’ve seen around the area.

Beautifully crafted hand-made pastries by the owners one of which is the pastry chef. A taste of nostalgia from my time in Europe. Not overly sweet and the flavors of the fruits within the pastries speak for themselves which, to me, is an enjoyable change of taste since so many baked goods are overly sweet here in the US in general. Owners and staff remembered us after only our second visit and were very welcoming. Music is not so loud that you cant hear others speaking to you but loud enough to create a confortable ambiance. We got 2 breakfast crossaints, a chocolate crossaint, their blended mochaccino and a variety of fruit strudel and baked goods to take back to Texas with us.

Café Dolce in Norwalk instantly brought me back to the feeling of a traditional Hungarian bakery in Europe! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the owners are incredibly friendly—it truly feels like visiting family. The pastries are absolutely delicious, and so are the paninis and crêpes, all made with care and authentic flavor. The coffee is excellent, with so many options to enjoy it just the way you like. Service is quick, the staff is always smiling, and every visit is a treat. A true hidden gem—I can’t recommend it enough!
