Crema's Take
“Piecewise Coffee in Cayce has mastered the art of espresso with consistently rich, never-burnt shots that shine in creative drinks like their signature CoJo and delicate honeysuckle latte. The spacious, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely warm staff make it worth the drive—whether you're settling in for focused work, a meeting, or just savoring exceptional coffee alongside their solid cafe food like cheese and chive bagels.”

This is my favorite coffee shop, especially the Cayce location. I drive from Elgin.. just for the CoJo and the incredible atmosphere & staff. During February they had a wonderful featured tiramisu iced coffee that is pictured. It was so delicious! I tell every single person that I can about Piecewise Coffee! I love this place SO MUCH!
Lovely coffee house! Service with a smile and a large sitting area- perfect for meetings. Coffee was delicious (my choice honeysuckle latte - I love lavender!)
There was good basic cafe food. The cheese and chive bagel was really good, even though I couldn't finish it there. The matcha was also very good and they had solid options. Even when it was full, it was easy to just relax and read my book.
Piecewise is one of the few coffee places in the area that gets espresso right. Never burnt, just great caramel-esque flavor. They also use a good oat milk for their oat milk lattes, which I’ve come to realize is incredibly important if you have to be dairy free and want a good latte. Also! This place is cozy! Tons of space to study/read while you enjoy a drink. I wouldn’t change anything about this place 🖤 my only request is a Lexington location near the high school because Lexington needs a good and friendly coffee place.
It was a working Saturday for me, and I wanted to try a new coffee place. Google helped me find Piecewise with awesome reviews, so I decided to visit even though it was a 20-minute drive. It's a quiet neighborhood coffee place, and I hope most of the people here are their regular customers. I ordered a hot latte and a chocolate chip scone. The scone was deliciously baked with perfect consistency and the right amount of sweetness. I loved it. However, the latte was a letdown. I'm not sure if it was the whole milk or the espresso machine, but something created a very odd flavor in the coffee drink. I had a tough time finishing it. The coffee shop was full, including the additional seating area, but I found a nice place to sit in the outside seating area. The store also seemed to be kept clean. It's definitely not a bad place, but I'm not sure if it's worth the 4.8 stars. If I get a chance, I will give it another try. #CoffeeShop #coffee #scone #Breakfast
