I have probably been to Ump’s one thousand times. Birthplace of beautiful pastries and delicious, uniquely named sandwiches. I adore the handmade paintings displayed around the dining area, and the big wooden beams. One of the coziest little places in town with the ambience of coffee-grinding and small talk. An establishment fit for all ages and humors; a Hanover staple for certain.
Fantastic! Colonial feel building and decor, delicious coffee, sandwiches and baked goods. The Reuben was absolutely fantastic and the breakfast sandwich on sourdough was very good. Parking can be a challenge, but there's outdoor seating if you're with a dog or just wish to enjoy the outdoors. One free coffee refill is included with the drip coffee of you stay "in house". The bathrooms are in good shape too.
A perfect little spot for a delicious local meal! The sandwiches are very good and, in my opinion, reasonably priced. What really stood out to me, though, was the atmosphere. The art on the walls, the arrangement of seating, and the nice dishes were truly the cherry on top that made the entire experience worthwhile. Highly recommend for a little treat!
Great local place for breakfast and lunch. I like a strong, dark roast coffee and was *not* disappointed. Breakfast egg sandwiches were delicious and the croissant was top notch. The staff were great and very helpful for out of towners. Definitely recommend! 😋
Delicious savory pies and great service. Love their tea lattes as well. Pastries can be really good. The only issue here is consistency. Sometimes I'll get the same thing multiple days in a row and it tastes different. I really love this place so much. The food is wholesome and tasty. And they have sandwiches named after characters from The Fountainhead and other pieces of great literature :)
