Morning Brew - Kaka'ako

I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently delicious, beautifully prepared, and always hits the spot. The service truly sets this place apart though. Tommy is incredible - friendly, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. His positive energy and professionalism make a huge difference, and he’s a big reason I keep coming back. He would be an amazing manager and is more than deserving of a promotion. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Lively and crowded coffee shop in the SALT building. We came here after lunch next door at Alo Cafe. The cortado was very good as was the butterscotch blondie. We ate at the outdoor seating area due to lack of space inside.

The spouse was at an appointment nearby which gave yours truly some time to explore the area. And, my appetite is always ready to go! ATMOSPHERE: Located within the Salt At Our Kaka’ako outdoor mall, the corner spot is bright, airy and echoey. Outdoor seating is available. I chose a spot on the second floor loft. PARKING: Street or garages nearby. MENU: Intimate breakfast menu with something for everyone. BEVERAGE: Iced Coffee Black coffee over ice. There’s a station to add your own condiments. FOOD: Havarti Scramble Nice and light bowl of scrambled eggs that were perfectly salted, havarti cheese and fresh spinach mixed in, and topped with sliced green onions. A slice of sourdough toast accompanied. SERVICE: Counter service was immediate and friendly. Place your order, find a spot and the food is brought to you. When you’re done, leave your dirty dishes at one of the stations throughout. OVERALL: Nice place to grab coffee and breakfast.

I have been here a few times. The first time I snagged a spot upstairs and got food and drinks. It was so hot I could not stay to work. The food was decent but I didn't like my drinks both times I've ordered. There is decent space to work including wifi and outlets and street parking available close by but not one of my fav places to work.

The coffee quality here is excellent. The baristas are skilled, so almost every drink is consistently satisfying. Today I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, and it was really delicious. The staff are friendly, the café is clean, and the outdoor seating is especially nice—even in the middle of the day, the breeze makes it a perfect spot to take a break. The neighborhood is lively too, so it’s great for stopping by while exploring the area. Whether you want to chat with friends, enjoy a relaxed afternoon, or sit down with a book, this is the perfect place.
