Crema's Take

This espresso-focused spot in Denver draws everyone from run clubs to remote workers with its genuinely welcoming vibe and consistently excellent service. Beyond solid traditional pulls, they shine with creative specialty drinks and matcha tea in a bright, minimalist space that practically begs you to linger over a pastry or settle in for the afternoon. The kind of neighborhood gem where the team remembers faces and actually makes you feel like they're glad you stopped by.

Hot Shot Coffee is the best! Whenever my run club comes in, the team is always so welcoming and kind. The service is fantastic, quick, and consistently top-notch. We always feel taken care of, and the drinks are great every time. Highly recommend! This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion

Stopped in for a coffee and a treat on my way to the DMNS, and was so glad I did! Denver has plenty of solid coffee shops, serving good pulls of espresso, and tasty classics. What I personally have been eager to find, is a spot specializing in funky, thoughtful, experimentation. I *think* I found it. I got some sort of “sea-hag cold brew” with nori infused cold foam. It was so good. A fun, yummy, coffee-forward drink, that wasn’t too sweet—a big pet peeve of mine. The vibes were great, with a clean interior, and pleasant outdoor space. And when there wasn’t a huge selection of pastries, the scone my kiddo picked was really well done (again, not too sweet, great crumb, good fixing to cake ratio). Looking forward to coming back with my husband for a coffee date.

It’s a great place to work or read a book, the coffee is great & parking in the lot is convenient. Keep it local! Plus their event space is versatile & staff is friendly. It’s a good coffee shop for meetings.

Good matcha, nice minimalistic space. Also a lot of natural light so would be good for working remotely. The negative reviews for being closed at a certain time and construction workers using the bathroom are silly. Those people should try running a local business, they clearly don’t understand what it takes. Instead of leaving negative reviews, they should just make coffee at home!

Stopped at the laundromat across the street and noticed Hot Shot Coffee, so we stopped in to get breakfast. We were greeted right away by friendly staff who were knowledgeable and helpful in deciding which delicious treat to buy. Hot Shot Coffee is spacious and inviting. They even host events! If we lived closer, this would be our go-to coffee shop.
