Crema's Take
“Tucked away in Hartford, this charming café excels at both specialty coffees and creative matcha drinks, with a particularly beloved strawberry matcha that keeps people coming back. The warm, inviting space strikes that rare balance of being perfect for a solo work session with your laptop or a leisurely breakfast with friends, backed up by a menu of fresh eggs, fluffy bagels, and creative breakfast burritos that showcase real care in execution. Staff here genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, creating that chill, welcoming ambiance that transforms a coffee run into a reason to linger.”

Great specialty coffees, fresh eggs, warm and fluffy bagels, chill ambiance, attentive service. It's a nice little shop I'd patronize again
Absolutely love DoNo. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The space is warm and inviting. The strawberry matcha and breakfast burrito are both 10/10. Look forward to returning!
What a find! We found DoNo Cafe on our way to search for breakfast the morning after our stay for a concert in Hartford and so very happy we saw it and stopped in. It is a charming, quiet cafe with a very relaxed vibe. It has a very friendly, smiling and attentive staff, delicious baked goods and outstanding coffees. Kudos to Angie, Dasia and Will.
Terrible customer service. I tried emailing my experience and they were absolutely no help. Did not offer a single solution for my experience. My avocado toast looked super old like it had been sitting out all day. I ordered it to go and was told I can’t get a refund because I already left the cafe. Additional the phone lines weren’t working, tried calling multiple times
I have to say I was excited to have breakfast at this place, but when I received my food I was thoroughly disappointed. The food portion was not a match for the prize. It was tiny and barely came with anything. I ordered the French toast and it was literally one piece of toast cut into four flat slices. Additionally, I got the Rise something burrito and it had nothing in it. Let me emphasize the nothing, it was straight up tortilla with a side of filling. Although it seemed like the we were in a food recession, the coffee was good.
