“Le Pain Quotidien's communal wooden tables create an unexpectedly social breakfast experience where you're as likely to strike up a conversation with a stranger as you are to enjoy genuinely excellent pastries and egg dishes. The coffee is solid and the outdoor seating is charming when you can snag a shaded spot, though inconsistent service and uncomfortable patio chairs occasionally undermine what should be a reliably great visit. Go for the food and atmosphere on a weekday morning when you're not rushed, but manage your expectations on weekends.”

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu.

Nice outside if there’s no sun. Hard to get a full table in the shade otherwise. Outdoor chairs are uncomfortable. I asked for cinnamon on my cappuccino twice and never got it. Food is very tasty, and there’s a nice variety.
