Crema's Take

This café employs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the genuine warmth radiating from staff makes it feel like the antidote to NYC's corporate coffee culture. The coffee and pastries are legitimately excellent—croissants rival some of the city's best bakeries, and the latte art is a nice touch—but what keeps people coming back is the wholesome, unhurried vibe that's increasingly rare in Manhattan. If you're tired of transactional coffee runs, this is the place to actually sit down and breathe.

What to expect

Food was great! The crossaint was one of the best I’ve tried so far in the city. Noah was our server and he was the sweetest! Highly recommend coming here!
