Donutville USA is hands down the best spot for donuts in all of metro Detroit - and probably the whole country, Part of what makes it so special is the warmth and care from the owners, Mark and Gail and their son Luke who is an amazing baker. They’re incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about their shop and customers. Every visit feels personal, like they’re happy to see you and want you to enjoy the best donuts possible. The donuts themselves are always fresh, perfectly sweet, and full of flavor—classic favorites and creative options alike. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast or a sweet treat, the combination of delicious donuts and the wonderful hospitality from Mark and Gail makes Donutville USA a must-visit. You can tell this is a business run with heart, and it shows in every bite and every interaction.

Doughnut Ville is seriously amazing. The donuts are so light and fluffy that they don’t even hurt your stomach — you can literally eat like 10 and not feel heavy at all. Everything tastes fresh and not overly greasy or sweet in a bad way. The place itself is very old school and tiny, but that’s honestly part of the charm — it feels like a cute little shop straight out of the 60s. The atmosphere is simple and cozy, and the employees are super nice and welcoming. Definitely one of those hidden gem spots I’ll keep coming back to

Donuts were delicious but some seemed not so fresh, server was very kind and helpful in this great atmosphere. Donuts are very well priced and lots of variety. Definitely try the honey glazed donut!

I got their cherry fritter. It was huge!!! Very soft and delicious. Full of cherry flavoring. My hubby got a chocolate Bavarian. His was delicious too. Great customer service. Very clean and nice establishment.

Came in middle afternoon and they were out of a few types of donuts I would have loved to try. But that being said, they still had a lot of choices available. I ended up getting a dozen donuts (my kids picked some of their faves). I will say, not the best donuts I’ve ever had, but they weren’t terrible. They were all a bit on the dry side. Do I need to drive 40 minutes to come back? Probably not, but if it was right around the corner, I’d probably be back. The guy who helped us was super nice and friendly. And the architecture and style is retro and fun.
