“Body Cafe is a serene, all-vegan and all-organic sanctuary in Santa Fe where you can linger over thoughtfully composed bowls like udon with tempeh or soba noodles made with local seasonal produce. The calm, welcoming atmosphere pairs perfectly with their impressive range of plant-based and gluten-free options, plus pastries like focaccia-style soda bread, making it a rare gem whether you're a visiting vegan foodie or just seeking good vibes and truly incredible food. I appreciated they had small soup bowls. I got the green chili soup and was disappointed not much green chili, the kale in it was good. The focaccia is really just Irish soda bread which is nice just know that going in. The olive oil was really good and I had a taste of my friends sweet potato soup and that was phenomenal! The atmosphere is calm I'd definitely come back and try some other menu items and get the sweet potatoe soup for myself.
I’m an out-of-town visitor and was planning to try the well-known Clafoutis’s bakery (having heard they have some vegan options for my dairy allergy), but they are closed on Sundays. So I made an amazing discovery at Body Cafe next door! Its vegan organic menu, with gluten-free options, is focused on supporting local farmers. How much healthier can you get? I had several slices of fresh baked, gluten-free focaccia and a chickpea (sprouted) salad resembling the texture of chicken salad, with vegan mayo and seasoned with dill and nutritional yeast, and a lovely crunch provided by celery and pickles. And it gets even better! They have in-house baked, vegan pastries and truffles, and they feature the vegan line of the renowned Kakawa chocolates. Especially for health-conscious customers who may also have food, allergies, and sensitivities, I heartily recommend trying the Body Cafe!
🌱 Body Café is a rare gem in Santa Fe. As a vegan foodie who has dined at many plant-based restaurants across Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Portland, and Vancouver, I can say Lori Parish has created something extraordinary—food that’s organic, gluten-free, low oil, generous in portion, and infused with real care. The café itself feels spacious and uplifting, part of a wellness center with yoga, massage, and a boutique that makes the whole place radiant. Unlike so many vegan spots that lose their heart over time, Body Café transmits Lori’s passion and soul in every detail—it’s unforgettable. Tristan and Brycken
Peaceful all vegan, all organic cafe with local seasonal produce and the calmest vibe. A truly rare find anywhere, but especially in Santa Fe! I had the udon vegetable bowl with tempeh and it was fantastic. The veggies were super fresh and vibrant, the noodles perfectly chewy and the tempeh had excellent flavor, being marinated overnight. My partner really enjoyed the chickpea sandwich with gluten free focaccia. The owner and server were both so lovely too. We will definitely be back!
Found this spot that has such good vibes: little shopping, classes and truly incredible food. They had so many vegan and gluten free options I was overwhelmed in the best way possible. I got the soba noodles and my friend got a black bean burger. We loved it so much we needed up getting 3 desserts with no regrets! Highly recommend checking out this place for best vibes, great food and awesome service
